One of the best parts about the Fall season in SL is the boots. I always get excited to see what creators come up for the new season and Fri.day has not disappointed. Just released for this round of Shiny Shabby are the Rosie Boots. I really love these boots and I know they'll be a staple of my autumn wardrobe. 

I am always on the hunt for new poses and I was really excited to pick up the Sophie pack from Fashiowl Poses. This store has SO MANY creative poses available, some of which come with props while others are static. Either way if you haven't visited this pose store before then I suggest checking it out. You won't be disappointed! ;)

No Miracles

I really struggled to find the right place to take this picture. I recently dressed up for a 1930's themed event and I really fell in love with my look. I decided to share it as I think there are a lot of pieces you can buy separately to create the look you want. I might not have nailed the 1930's but I think I made a good attempt at trying to embody the glam and beauty of the era. 

The sim I am on is called Misfit Ghetto (LM below). It's a mature, dark urban sim that has been really well done. Personally, I really like the juxtaposition of the setting and my outfit. I think it works, but that's up for debate ;) 

The shoes are a must-have from Fri.day's August Mix sale. I've used these shoes a few times and they're available at the mainstore in a few different colours.

The fur shawl and dress are from Gizza and Miss Chelsea. The main reasons I bought these pieces is because I know I can use them again as they'll go with anything.

In Takeuti Town

After many attempts to get into Uber today, I was finally successful. I picked up a lot of goodies that I can't wait to try out, but I really wanted to share these new shoes from Fri.day. They're called Yara and they come in 6 different colours. I had such a hard time deciding what colour to pick. I went with the crimson because I thought they really complimented this outfit from Ricielli. The purse and dress were a near steal at only L$15 as part of the Bye-bye to Summer Hunt.

If you haven't had a chance to read the blog SL Travel Blog then I highly suggest doing so. This blog has pointed me in the right direction for new sims to explore and take pictures on. The sim in the picture is a Japanese sim called Takeuti Town. It's amazing! So much to see and a nice likeness of Japan.

The Hallway Culprit

These pesky little bandits having been popping up everywhere on the grid. I found one in my hallway going through my basket of freshly picked apples.

I'm really in love with all these pieces and I'm happy I've gotten a chance to use them in my decor. I hope to be able to show you more of the house as I get around to it. I've seen the Kalopsia chair used in a lot of bedroom set ups, so I really wanted to try to incorporate it into another room in the house. I think it really ties in nicely with this scene. I especially like the yellow throw blanket over the back as it gives it a splash of colour. Don't miss the What Next sign that's tucked in the back. It was part of a FLF collection and such a great piece for the autumn season.

The other items are *must have* gacha items. I really love the doors and wreath from Ariskea. These are pieces I can see myself using again in other set ups. I just think they can compliment any area nicely.

A new event called, Lost & Found has recently opened up. I picked up the clock and the rhubarb basket from there. I can't wait to see how this event grows...

The Local Coffee Shop

This week has kept me busy with visiting new events. I can't believe all the goodies that are coming out. I picked up these awesome pants and shoes from My Attic @ The Deck which just opened. I really love these pants and they're a steal for only L$95. I will probably head back and pick out a few more colours.

The shoes are also a steal at only L$95 and come in tons of different colours.

I really like this shirt from Tetra as I've seen it featured on a number of blogs. I decided to go with white to play it safe. lol

The purse, cup, and glasses are all gacha grabs! 

When you have some time be sure to check out the Cape Juniper sim. It's such a cute little town.

Pumpkin in Love

I saw this pumpkin batch at a few different sims while I was exploring. I really wanted it! So I headed over to arcade and played until I was successful. I'm so pleased I did because I think it's the perfect accessory/decoration for the front porch of my home.

The light is a gift from Apple Fall which was released when the new manor house was dropped. I'm not sure if it's still free, but head down there to double check.

There is nothing better than sitting around the campfire with good friends, wine, and snacks. This campfire set was created by GOOSE and is for sale at Tres Chic. It's a must have for any deco lover.
